The One Planet Principles are a set of guidelines and sustainable development principles aimed at fostering a more environmentally responsible and equitable way of living and conducting business on our planet. They were developed by the Bioregional organisation in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and are designed to encourage individuals, businesses, and governments to adopt practices that respect ecological boundaries and promote social well-being. These principles promote responsible resource use, zero carbon emissions, and a more circular economy, all with the ultimate goal of ensuring that our planet can sustain the needs of current and future generations. The One Planet Principles provide a framework for achieving a more sustainable and harmonious coexistence with the Earth's ecosystems.
